with a full camp under cooper and a full season that roster should be primed for a playoff run.

Could very well be a solid team. Comes down to the goaltending question, looks to be very solid though could be Tampa curse too you never know. Do you want to put the rookies straight to second line or use them with third to get them use to playing in the NHL.

Was a good game, Bolts played well... But, I don't know about 'cruise'.

My personal view of the game had the Leafs dominating the start, and then losing grip as the game moved on. The ice tilted more and more towards the Bolts as the game went on, IMO. Just my $0.02 though.

(frank) Pouliot
(frank) Malone
Forget Pyatt
Our first rounder won't make the team. And JT Brown will be playing.

Nice blog, Micheal, love the detailed analyses when they show a good eye for the game.

Marty St Louis is a complete beauty, that's a for-sure. Best player in the game in the 2000s decade. I remember him on the Saint John Flames way back in the day.

Damn shame the lightning didn't see any success this season, with two of the best scorers in the game today tearing it up.

So what you're saying is that this year's Lightning roster is a rookie forward and a 3rd pairing defenseman away from being "insane"? Are you sure that's what you meant to say?

How is Kucherov looking what is the story on him I got him in NHL13 and he is a beast does he have a KHL contract I noticed a few fans throwing out line ups for next year and none had him is it because he has a contract with a KHL team or is he still a year or two away

What about BJ Crombeen? He's your 4th line centre isn't he?

JT Brown may be ready.

Also not so sure about your top pick making the team right out the gate. Guys like Brown,Johnson and Namestnikov may be bigger and stronger. Even if they're a top pick, bringing them in at 18 isn't always the best bet.

Nugent-Hopkins has already wrecked his shoulder twice now. He wasn
t strong enough to compete on the top lines against the Thorntons and Kopitars.

And Marty is the best guy, My idol. I'm 5'6 and have played hockey since I was 6 years old. I'm 23 now and a point per game+ player in men's league. Been reppin 26 since I was a young teen.

If anyone deserves the record of oldest player to win Art Ross, it's him. Even if there's an asterisk beside it. Hopefully he can get an assist everytime Stammer scores

If he's NA bound, then it will be the AHL. He's good, but needs some professional time without getting his ass kicked.

Lol no I just meant its tougher for them not every small guy is a st.louis gionta or even conacher but every team has small prospects that cant figure it out over here tedenby has a ton of skill in our system but has no strength and hasn't been able to stay in our line up nuge had injury problems not that he is 5 foot 6 but he was like 165 lbs when he came in and I do think Kucherov will be a very good player but you cant tell me that its not more likely for a player of their size to get knocked around then any other player it is wether or not they can figure out how to play there game and avoid it

According to QMJHL web page he's 5'11" and 174 lbs and boltsprospects says he's the same hieght but 184 lbs. that's not a small guy, just average. His only real issue is that he can dissappear for games at a time.

Me too, but you never know. Maybe the thought of playing with Stamkos, Lecavalier and St. Louis will get him to stick around.
